Uggs? Still? .... Seriously?
So, it's been hot in NC for a while (like 70 degrees, thanks global warming!) but today it turned January-ish for the first time in forever. And I saw, no lie, TEN GIRLS wearing Uggs.
Uggs were not attractive even WHEN they were stylish, which they most assuredly no longer are. What the fuck?

Gee, I don't know; they're awfully warm up here in Pittsburgh - are they really totally out of fashion? And here I was under the impression that their chunkiness made me look slimmer... (I used to think that about those exaggerated shoulder pads in the 80s, too.)
Well, they're not a fashion statement if they're practical, and Pittsburgh is COLD. I'm in North Carolina and it's just not ever cold enough to warrant them - so they really are just a silly fashion statement here.
I always think big boots make me look thinner too, but my husband told me recently that it just makes me look like I have cankles. :(
